Greeting to you Resident and all the members of Neighbourhood Watch in the West Midlands
On behalf of the new West Midlands Neighbourhood Watch Association, I am delighted to reach out to all of you from across our communities and introduce myself
My name is Brian Bassingthwaighte, and at our AGM on September 12th i was voted as Chairman of the Association board,

Alongside myself i wish to introduce Ravi Kumar (Vice Chair), Ezequiela Margarita Wefer (Treasurer) and June McAuliffe (Secretary) who were voted onto the board. Alongside these 4 we also have Arif Rafi who is our Cyberhood Watch rep for the Association
As an association we're here to support the county’s existing Neighbourhood Watch coordinators and members and actively encourage and facilitate the formation of new watches.
We work in partnership with The Police & Crime Commissioner, West Midlands Police, councils, community organisations and other agencies. Thus, enabling us to build a much stronger and safer network of schemes throughout the West Midlands.
Every member has an important part to play, whether by sharing local updates, supporting neighbours, promoting crime-prevention advice or contributing ideas for future activities.
We want to encourage you to get involved, stay connected and help shape the association as it develops. Together, we can build trust, increase awareness and create welcoming communities where people look out for one another.
Over the coming weeks we will be sending out a series of alerts on how you can become more involved, as well as other updates and information you can share with your local schemes and communities
Thank you for being part of the Neighbourhood Watch in the West Midlands. We look forward to working with you and to an exciting new chapter for our association.
